Rise N Shine!

Before Going to Bed:

Watch or Read Something Funny or Uplifting, Inspiring or Motivating.  Do not watch the news! That’s the worst thing that you can do right before going to bed. There’s nothing but negativity. You don’t need that.

Put Phone in Airplane Mode (preferred) or Nighttime Mode.  We are bombarded with notifications, from social media to emails, and it’s important that you’re not distracted.

Read Affirmations.  If you don’t already have affirmations create them. Write down things that are important in your life, and write them in present-tense, emotionally charged sentences.  These are things that you want to accomplish or be in this life.

Sample Affirmations:  (Always focus on what you want!)

  • “I am proud that my kids run their own businesses.”
  • “I am so happy that I have patience with my kids and wife.”
  • “I am so happy that we have date night each week with no phones or interruptions.
  • “I am grateful that I meditate daily.”
  • “I am so grateful that I am a great leader.”
  • “I am so grateful that money comes easily and frequently.”
  • “I am excited that I’m attracting leaders in my business every day.”

After Waking Up

The first thing that most people do when they wake up is reach over for their phone and check their social media, text messages, and emails.  Don’t do that! Do this instead:

Keep Phone in Airplane Mode.  Any notifications, text messages, or emails that you received last night can wait.

Read Affirmations Again.  This sets the tone for the day.   Think about it – your subconscious has been reflecting on these affirmations all night, and now you’re setting the intentions for the rest of your day.

Exercise.  If you travel to a gym listen to an audio book.  When exercising turn off the audio book and turns on some music.  While on the treadmill or exercise bike, you can take your phone off of airplane mode and go through his text messages, emails, and social media notifications.  You can also use this time watch or listen to a training or course.

Gratitude Time.  Listen to an audio book on you way home from the gym, and then spend 5-15 minutes in a “gratitude practice”.  Acknowledge what you are grateful for in your life, from the things you have to the people you care about.  Concentrate and be specific.

Income-Producing Activities.  This is when you start building your business. Create value content (video, social media posts, etc.).  Make new calls, follow-up calls, connect to people on social media, have conversations, build relationships, etc.

Now you can take your phone off Airplane Mode but stay focused on income producing activities!!
