What is Network Marketing Momentum?
Network Marketing Momentum is when you have a lot of new and excited people following your system, joining your team and getting results on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
Momentum is energy.
The powerful thing about network marketing momentum is that people are ATTRACTED to it because of the positive energy, passion and excitement.
When you have momentum on your team, people know you are headed somewhere.
When they are around you or members of your team, they innately want to be a part of it.
Momentum creates a tremendous fear of loss since people desperately want to be part of something ‘big’ and positive in life.
Momentum validates you as a leader and that you are capable of helping them get to where they want to go in life.
There are three types of Network Marketing Momentum: Personal Momentum, Team Momentum, and Company Momentum.
We’ll discuss each of these with a focus on how to create personal momentum and team momentum.
What is Personal Momentum?
Personal Momentum is when you are personally seeing results in your business.
You are bringing in new team members and your business is growing, in both team members and customer sales volume.
There is excitement and enthusiasm for you personally.
However, while Personal Momentum is a great starting point, it does not always duplicate down through your team and organization.
What is Team Momentum?
Team Momentum is where the excitement is and what you really want to create.
Team Momentum creates freedom.
Developing Team Momentum is the key to long-term, lasting success.
What is Company Momentum?
Company momentum is when a company is in massive growth.
When a company has momentum it’s almost like all you have to do is just put people around it, and they join, and they sign up, and you can’t do anything wrong.
Eventually, things are going to plateau. They’re going to slow.
It’s just a normal part of business.
But here’s the problem.
If you took your success for granted and you didn’t do the hard work, when your company momentum slows, your business hits a wall and sometimes falls off a cliff.
if you’ve created the right culture inside your team, and you’ve created your own team momentum with the right systems then even when the company momentum slows, you can still continue to grow.

The second step to creating massive momentum in your network marketing business is to create your own personal momentum.
How is Personal Momentum created?
The keys to developing Personal Momentum are FOCUS, CONSISTENCY and ACTION!
These are not the easiest for people to maintain over long periods of time, but you do have 100% control over.
Since you do have 100% control if you can stay FOCUSED on your business and you are CONSISTENTLY doing the right activities, you are always eventually going to create Personal Momentum.
Leading by example is critical here. You must do the activities that you are asking your team to do!
The third step to creating massive momentum in your network marketing business is to create team momentum.
Team Momentum creates Freedom!
It is the key to creating massive momentum in network marketing and to having long term, lasting success.
This is where not just YOU personally are seeing results, but you have new people joining, they’re following the system, they’re getting results, and they’re excited, as well!
When you have true team momentum, the growth of your business and team continues regardless of ‘how present’ you are.
Team Momentum is where the excitement is and what you really want to create.
Momentum comes as a result of duplication.
Duplication happens only when there are simple SYSTEMS in place.
If you want to create momentum, everything rises and falls with systems.
If your team is not systems-dependent, it is nearly impossible to sustain momentum and growth.
Systems are nothing more than a standardized set of instructions or tools telling people exactly what to do AND what NOT to do.
Your #1 job as a leader is to make sure there are systems in place.
You must have a clearly defined process to do everything in your business to create massive momentum in network marketing.
Is your team PEOPLE-dependent? Or SYSTEMS dependent?
If you are relying in some way on a person being talented enough to fulfill part of a process, then you are people dependent.
If you are people-dependent your team momentum will slow down.
Most of the people that join your business need simple systems to follow.
With a true system in place, all people, no matter their background or skillset, can take action and cause true duplication.
To create massive momentum in network marketing you must have duplication and to have duplication you must have systems!
