The proper mindset is crucial for Network Marketing Success. It’s a little secret that the highly successful people develop and utilize.
5 Easy Mindset Tweaks for Network Marketing Success
1.) Focus only on victory!
Always focus on what you want and not on what you don’t have. Focus on having achieved your goals. Focus on victory! When you only focus on what you want, on achieving your goals and on victory God will force you to succeed… the universe will force you to succeed!
2) Replace language that doesn’t serve you.
Stop using words like I’m not, I can’t, I struggle, etc. If you need to refer to things you are working on then speak in past tense. I used to struggle with… but I don’t anymore. This will help you trick your subconscious mind.
3) Visualize your success daily.
I’m a huge believer in visualization! It’s something I started doing to help me in sports. I would visualize the football being thrown to me, catching it and out running everyone for the TD. I also ran track so prior to each race I would visualize exactly how I was going to run. I would see myself bursting out of the blocks and then catching the other runners and ultimately crossing the finish line first. You can use these same types of strategies before you call people. Visualize how the conversation is going to go. See yourself enrolling them and helping them. If your goal is to be recognized on stage or speaking on stage spend a little time each day visualizing it. See yourself up there. Now focus on the feeling! How does it feel to be up there? Can you hear everyone cheering for you? Smile, you have done it!! Do this several times throughout the day!
4) Create affirmations & read them multiple times a day every day!
I love affirmations as they are short phrases that will help you program your mind into believing the statement. You can create your affirmations based off of what you believe your negative qualities are as well as your goals. Then you simply turn them into “I am” statements. Some examples: I am worthy. I am a great leader. I also like to use gratitude in some of my affirmation. An example would be “I am so happy and grateful to have achieved ______.” Write down your affirmations on note cards and also take pictures of them. Put the note cards in your book and/or in your car. Read through your pictures of them right before you go to bed at night and right away when you wake up in the morning. I often fall asleep repeating my affirmations.
5) Celebrate every accomplishment big or small.
It’s very important that you celebrate every effort and accomplishment even if you didn’t achieve your main goal. For example let’s say your goal is to share your products/opportunity with 5 people each day but you are only able to show it to 3 people. Rather than being disappointed and down about not getting 5 exposures celebrate having achieved 3 exposures! Maybe your goal is to jog 2 miles and you complete 2 miles but you had to walk 1 mile of it. Rather than being down on having to walk half of it celebrate accomplishing 2 miles of exercise! If you are struggling to call people and you finally call someone but they tell you No… celebrate the fact that you called them! If your goal for the month is to have 10,000 in volume and your finish at 8,000 don’t be down about it. Celebrate the fact that you are 80% of the way to your goal.
